Reducing power loss in wire­less power recei­vers is important to avo­id ther­mal design issues. Synchronous rec­ti­fi­ca­ti­on is a sui­ta­ble means for loss reduc­tion. In this paper we pro­po­se a syn­chro­no­us rec­ti­fier with a simp­le con­trol sche­me. A detail­ed ana­ly­sis leads to a time-domain model which is used to per­form a power loss ana­ly­sis. Experimental veri­fi­ca­ti­on shows that the pre­dic­ted effi­ci­en­cy impro­ve­ment agrees with mea­su­re­ment results.
